Thanks a lot for the SVG to KiCAD link! I was going to make a front panel for my project using the PCB fab service because it’s an easy way to make a pretty panel with markings, holes, and even touch pads. This script should make designing the panel much easier.
OK, I have spent my first weekend with my shiny new Axidraw and wanted to make some comments.
This is a well thought out product. Solidly built and very professional. It is very easy to set up.
The system of Inkscape, Axidraw and the custom Python from the Evil mad scientists is open enough to allow me to shoot my foot off (yes, I am likely to tinker with your code) and production ready enough that I can start making invitations, nametags and announcements immediately.
Thank you for such a well thought out, robust and flexible pen plotter.
Cheers!
