Hi! Just unpacked my axidraw a3 / v3.
I am in Europe / Italy.

I just downloaded the manual, attached the disconnected pin to the board following the instructions.
Plugged the power supply via an adapter like this:

When open inkscape, extensions > Axidraw > setup > apply
    I get this error message:

    `
    Warning: Low voltage detected.
Check that power supply is plugged in.
    `

Do I need any specific voltage for it?

The AxiDraw includes a “universal input” power supply. It should use a plug-shape adapter only, not a voltage adapter like that one. You are probably not getting enough output voltage from it.

I too have the same problem, and have tried on various adaptors.

If you use a voltage adapter, it *will not* work. You need to use a straight-through adapter that gives the power supply the full power that it needs. We have regularly heard of issues like this with voltage adapters.

Alternative approaches include: (A) Contact technical support or (B) Use your own power supply.

If you would like to use your own power supply, it needs to have
    (1) 9 V DC output
    (2) regulated output
    (3) At least 1.5 A output current capacity
    (4) a 2.1 x 5.5 mm output barrel jack
    (5) center-positive output
