Alpha thermometer

Hi guys,

I ordered my Alpha Clock kit a couple of days ago. Can’t wait.

However, I’m not planning on using it just as a clock.

Once I put it together, I plan to hack it by adding a temperature sensor to it and an additional display.

I am thinking of using an addressable LED strip from Sparkfun that would resemble an old style mercury thermometer, where temperature reading would be represented by a light strip that while going up from negative to positive, would also change colour from deep blue to bright red.

Should be fun.
