Cylinders?

Hey there,

Is it possible to use the Eggbot (or more specifically the Ostrich Eggbot) to plot on a cylinder? 

I’m looking for something to etch a few Pilsner glasses (like these), and I was wondering if the Eggbot would be able to do so. It would probably not be the whole glass, but maybe a swath about 2-3 inches tall if possible.

The pen moves in an arc over the object, so it does not work on cylinders except for within a very narrow band near the center of its range. However, those may have enough curvature to make them workable in the widest section. You’ll need a different coupling mechanism for the open end of the glass, of course.
