Hi, I would like to make a box that can run on batteries(preferably) or can be plugged in. It has to power a small motor that rotates at a very slow speed and very quietly, as well as contain multiple LED elements. I am very capable of constructing the elements such as box to hold power source and items that will be in rotation.  What I have an issue with is using LED’s that will illuminate the items that are spinning.  Any advice is greatly appreciated.  I am a very capable chef and am willing to trade tips if need be.  Thanks for reading my post.

You might start here, with one of our “Basics” articles about using LEDs: http://www.evilmadscientist.com/2012/resistors-for-leds/
