    I have a newer version of the Meggy Jr. RGB and whilst trying to learn to program it, I tried to upload an example to Meggy.  It did not detect the usb used in order to upload programs onto the Meggy Jr.  I have looked in Tools>Serial Ports and so far the Arduino has never detected my usb. I was curious why this might be occurring and how I might be able to fix it.  I was using the TTL cord that I ordered from Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories by the way in case that helps.

    You may need to install the “VCP” driver from FTDI onto your computer, before it will recognize the cable.

    Thank you so much for your help, Windell.  It works perfectly fine now.
