EggBot Control Extension 2.3.4.
EEB Version_and Above_EB Firmware Version 2.0.1snotsParticipantsnotsParticipantOk Thanks.
snotsParticipantOk, Actually what I think it was is the pressure clam had the motor slightly pitched to the left. If I have it home then swivel the pressure clamp a bit it sets right. Think that was it.
snotsParticipantNice. I bought my wife a set of 72 Coptic sketch markers. They blend beautifully. I just tried a stipple of Grace Kelly with a Prismacolor pen, and the resolution looks great compared to the Sharpie Ultra Fine. To bad they take forever to dry. Are these other pens perminant?
snotsParticipantThat interesting. Can you send my a link?
snotsParticipantSo what do you consider to be the best 005, or 01 to use with an EggBot Pro? I’m a bit of a perfectionist. Use to do CNC programming for WDW, and now do Computer 3D modeling, and rendering, ( I have attached a sample of my work ). I must say this EggBot Pro is beautifully thought out, and built. Cosmetically it looks great, and has a very solid build. Almost resembles a miniature CNC lathe. Are there any ball point type pens that work well?
snotsParticipantOk thanks. Does Sharpie make a pen with a finer tip than the Ultra fine that dry’s fast?
snotsParticipantYes, I had the motor power supply plugged into a switched outlet.
snotsParticipantI made a completely different image with lots of fills, and it came out fine. Not sure what caused it, but like you say even the file on thingiverse has it to some degree. If I have anymore issues, I’ll let you know.
snotsParticipantOk, but you don’t think that it’s a hardware issue then?
snotsParticipantActually it doesn’t. The peach background color are just straight lines as the egg rotates, and they stop at the eye before the black outline is put in with another layer. So the pen is moving a bit as it forms the circle cutout for the peach background. I don’t understand why the other looks pretty good, and the right doesn’t look the same.
snotsParticipantThe red area around the right eye. It seems like it leaves a much wider peach colored line line around it versus the left eye. It’s better, but still not right. Wonder if it has something to do with the file?
snotsParticipantStill some problem with the right eye. The moves seem to look ok. What do you suggest?
snotsParticipantOk, but why does one eye look good, and the other looks way off?
